The hotel's location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Costa Brava. It was situated close to the beach, allowing for easy access to the stunning coastline. the hotel provided a great breakfast spread each morning, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day off right. Another advantage was the friendly and helpful staff, who were always available to assist with any questions or requests.
The service at the hotel was lacking, with the owner demonstrating a lack of respect and a difficult personality. It was truly a shame that such negativity overshadowed what could have been a pleasant stay.

Relaxing. Well placed for places to drive to. Good food. 'Family run' feel about the place - the chef checked me in; the waiter made up our beds!
Don't take this as criticism of hotel. This is only offered to be helpful to nice family run hotel people, but it's easy to underestimate the importance of very small things: 1) both bedside lamps' bulbs had gone, 2) wall light bulb didn't function, 3) no face flannel provided, 4) safe was locked, so usage instructions from 'open' were useless, 5) tv had 2 inter-playing remotes almost impossible to crack without instructions, 6) would've been nice to have more than only Spanish- speaking channels. Without these tiny, really easy to keep fixed, irritations we would certainly be even more likely to recommend your lovely hotel to everyone.

Beautifully converted farm house with lots of character. Only 9 rooms, so never over crowded. Situated just outside Pals on roadside. In house restaurant was a relaxing environment with friendly staff. The quality of food was amazing - I would recomend the 'Gastronomic menu option'.
Sadly with any conversion of an old building compromises have to be made. The installation of a lift has reduced (significantly) the size of a couple of bedrooms - #103 & #203. This also caused the noise of the lift to be confined to within the 'old room' walls, more than I'd feel is acceptable for a hotel of this quality. The beds were also very firm, with thin pillows - however this does seem common practice in some countries.

The location of the hotel was great, near the coast and with beautiful views of the countryside. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a modern bathroom and all the necessary amenities. The service provided by the staff was friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast offered a variety of delicious options, including freshly baked pastries and local produce. The hotel had a lovely outdoor terrace, perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings.
One downside was that the Wi-Fi connection was quite weak and unreliable, making it difficult to stay connected.

The scenery around the hotel is beautiful, with stunning views of the countryside and the coast. The staff was attentive and helpful during our stay, making sure we had everything we needed. Plus, the hotel was located within walking distance of great shops and restaurants.
While the scenery was fantastic, the hotel itself was a bit outdated and could use some refurbishing. there were some minor issues with the room, such as a leaky faucet.
